Photographer Scott Denys has over twenty years of experience in Glamour, Boudoir, Swimsuit, and Fine Art Portraiture including Wedding and Professional Business Portraiture.  Scott came to photography in a bit of a different way.

Scott started his first photography venture, Denny Scott Photography (name derived from his radio air name) specializing in Weddings, Senior Portraits and Glamour/Boudoir.  Scott was one of the first Quad Cities photographers to go regional photographing weddings in a five state region with a strong business in southwest Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana, Chicago and the suburbs, and various rural Iowa and Illinois areas.  He also traveled about a third of the states in the United States to capture advertising on pizza boxes at pizza parlors.  A big contract that Scott got was to photograph at first the submissions for Davenport Hooters waitresses to be considered for the anuual corporate swimsuit calendar and then further expanded to photographing the waitresses for the annual contests which includes the creation of  the “selling” pictures for the contest  of which you have seen some on this web site.

It is through this travel and contracts that Scott has gained insight into dynamic posing concepts for ladies.  Also, many ladies have posed for Scott felt at ease with his professionalism and  knowledge of posing concepts.

Scott’s works have included items that you see here, work on the main www.scottdenys.com/ladiesfirstphotography web site, and also his mix of pinups and editorial cartooning concepts on editorialpinups.com.  Scott’s study of glamour and boudoir is mixed with his pinups studies. Also, one cannot help but find the artistic work of Playboy especially Arny Freytag as the original guide to glamour and boudoir portraiture.   Scott has also studied the works of Simon Waldon, Mollie Marie, with Years of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues assist with thoughts on swimsuit portraiture. That mixed with various concepts as seen in various places on the internet plus the talks with his late father and the study of his figure drawings of the female body has given Scott his uncanny ability to create different glamour and  boudoir concepts.

The technique to flatter in a swimsuit carries to the boudoir carries to the wedding dress.  It is this comfort that allows for the ultimate glamour/boudoir/pinup portrait.
